Role: Project Manager

BPL's head office is based in Borehamwood, and due to growth and expansion of the site, we have an opportunity for someone to join our PMO team on-site as a Project Manager.

Due to internal promotions we have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join us in leading and managing projects across the site, which typically last from 6-36mths and have a revenue value of up to £5million.

Key responsibilities to include;

  • Reporting directly into the Head of Project Management Office you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned projects, ensure they are managed within budget and on-time.
  • Responsibility to ensure all projects have an up to date Business case, Charter, 4-up chart, Gantt chart, risk and issues register that clearly reflect the exact state of the project.
  • Take ownership and hold regular prescheduled project team meetings, and manage cross functional interaction within projects
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders via project sponsor, monthly reports and visual boards
  • Work while ensuring project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately on the stored appropriately.
  • Contribute to improving and promoting BPL's project management process and toolkit as well as promoting a consistent approach to project management across site
  • Generate business cases and confirm financial benefits, to include financial accountability to ensure project costs are managed and benefits are reported accurately. Accountability to deliver return on investment is essential to this role.
  • Responsibility to manage and achieve project benefits including reporting on financial issues such as return on investment.

Experience to make you successful in the role;

You'll be an experienced Project Manager, with proven success of running and managing projects on-time and within budget. Ideally you will have a professional project management qualification, but this isn't essential.

You must be an excellent communicator and can engage individuals at all levels by various forms of communication.

Can digest complex project information from various sources, reassess and effectively advise stakeholders on project strategy and approach while taking account of budgetary constraints, conflicting priorities and the business goals.
